My land surveying career began several decades ago while attending Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute in New Mexico and has traversed many states such as Alaska, Arizona, Utah and Wyoming. I am a Professional Land Surveyor in Arizona, Utah and Wyoming. I am an appointed United States Mineral Surveyor and a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Certified Federal Surveyor. I learned enough from this book to use the hp 35s to do most of what I needed it to do. Had I not bought this book with the calculator, it would be functionally identical to a dollar store calculator since I knew nothing of scientific calcs going in. Good investment if you are new to the subject, I'd say.
If you want to program a calculator for surveying, this book is your guide.
It was very insightful and helped a lot in what I was trying to accomplish.
