How to Get to the Top of the MountainMy copy of How to Create a $1,000,000 Speech is already full of turned down pages. It is a wise and comprehensive guide to getting through the end game of publishing and on to sharing your written work on speaking platform. Each chapter has a variety of ahas—from negotiating for a fee; to how to market yourself to decision makers; and the one that deals with contracts is essential. When I contacted the author with a question, she sent me the contract in a Word document—one that I can now use as I get ready to launch my own book. Thank goodness Judith Briles is here for us with generous and no-nonsense advice to get from page to platform. Thanks, Judith!

However, I would say the platinum nuggets in here make it a must-have book and a great gift for anyone who wants to improve how they communicate important messages to others. Her whimsical cartoons will also make you smile while you learn.

Kinda tricky, not a 300 page book, just small, would be better at 175-200 pages and maybe as a 6 x 9 inch book. Cool niche, being a Mini-guide. Good material, nothing new, I guess there is nothing new out there and it's my fault for reading everything available.
Dr. Judith Briles' book is a MUST-READ if you aspire to being a sought-after speaker. Ask me...I attended one of her Speaking Unplugged events in Denver a few months ago and had a super experience giving my first speech following the guidelines she taught me. Judith says she sells a lot of books at her speaking engagements...well, I sold out of all my books I brought with me!! THANK YOU, Dr. Briles...my first speech was a success because of what you taught me...and it's ALL in the book! She shares all her tips and tricks to point you on the road to success.
