Theodore Wildi is a professional engineer, Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and member of The American Society for Engineering Education. In Canada, he is Chair of the CSA Technical Committee on the International System of Units and Chair of the CAC/ISO/TC12 Committee on Quantities, Units, and Conversion Factors. In the United States, he serves as a member of the IEEE Standards Coordinating Committee 14 on Quantities, Units, and Letter Symbols. Mr. Wildi has written several books on electric power and is Professor Emeritus of Laval University. He was awarded the IEEE Centennial Medal and is a recipient of the General A.G.L. McNaughton Award.

wished I have left it alone. like the folding chart I got much better
This is a pretty good book, I can't say great or awesome or anything yet only because I'm pretty new at engineering and still a student. It's kinda confusing for me with the lines and all that they use to show relationships and conversions but again, I'm pretty new at this and am sure that it'll get easier as I progress in school. All in all, I like the book, it got to me fairly quick and it is in good condition. I would recommend the book to other aspiring engineers:-)

This book is fantastic! As an engineer, I work with clients that use many different units for the same quantities. This book is ideal because the conversions for all units for an engineering quantity are all in the same table. The conversions from one unit to another are clear and in a format that is easily verified. I hate the online conversion tools that most people are using. The online tools are black boxes and I don't trust them because I can't verify their accuracy.
Handy and interesting book for Engineers of all disciplines. Although one can find resources on the web for free that do the same thing, the book is sometimes better because it shows the step by step conversion process in a way that allows a person to be more confident than a "black box" number.
